Italian Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 c. oil
    2 chopped onions
    1 can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. sweet marjoram
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 bay leaf
    1 can mushrooms
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. macaroni, elbow, twists, or wheels
    Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to directions and drain.
    Meanwhile brown meat and onions in oil, then add the tomatoes, spices, and mushrooms and cook for 45 minutes.
    Mix the meat sauce and macaroni and pour into a greased bowl; top with grated cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 min.
