Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. fresh blackberries
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 (9-inch) pie pastry
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Place berries in a 9-inch square baking dish.
    Combine 3/4 cup of sugar, salt and cornstarch.
    Sprinkle over berries.
    Dot with butter.
    Roll pastry to fit pan and place on top of berries.
    Trim and seal edges.
    Brush with milk and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar.
    Make slits in top.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
