Children'S Banana Boats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. salted peanuts
    4 large bananas
    1 bowl Cool Whip
    4 maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Chop peanuts on cutting board.
    Leaving bananas in peeling, gently wash and pat dry with paper towel.
    Carefully slit top of banana lengthwise, leaving 1 inch uncut at each end.
    Cut away 1/2 inch of peel on each with scissors forming a pocket.
    Put Cool Whip in a bowl.
    Scoop banana out of peelings with teaspoon.
    Add mix with Cool Whip.
    Mix with rubber scraper.
    Fill each peeling with 1/4 mixture.
    Sprinkle with 1/4 peanuts and cherry.
    Serve right away or refrigerate 1 hour.
    Fun to make with your child.
