Curried Peas Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2/3 c. almonds
    1 can small early peas
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    1 c. milk, added to soup
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Spread the bottom of a long baking dish with melted butter. Spoon rice in dish.
    Then spread peas which have been drained. Sprinkle almonds which have been toasted to the top of the mixture.
    Spread cooked chicken over the mixture.
    Blend and pour cream of chicken soup, milk and grated Cheddar cheese over all. Bake for 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
