Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar plus 3/4 c. for topping
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. orange juice
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    5 or 6 apples, peeled and sliced thin
    1/3 c. ReaLemon
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix together 2 cups sugar, flour, oil, juice, eggs, vanilla and baking powder.
    Combine cinnamon with 3/4 cup sugar.
    Mix apples with lemon juice and some of the cinnamon-sugar.
    Let stand about 10 minutes.
    Pour half of the batter into a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Top the batter with apple mixture and then with remaining batter.
    Sprinkle with nuts and the remaining cinnamon-sugar.
    Bake in preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
    Cool in pan and cut in squares.
