Peppery Scallops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sea scallops
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. dried bread crumbs
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Rinse the scallops under cold water.
Pat dry with paper towels.
In a medium size bowl toss the scallops with the melted butter to coat well.
On a paper plate, mix the bread crumbs, basil and pepper.
Dip one flat side of the scallop into the crumb mixture.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, pepper side up. Broil close to the broiler for about 5 minutes.
Serve with lemon wedges.
