Cranberry Jello Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry, raspberry or strawberry gelatin
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
3 c. water
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. pared, diced apples
1/2 c. diced celery
lettuce
Preparation

Heat cranberry sauce, flavored gelatin of choice and 2 cups water until gelatin dissolves.
Soften unflavored gelatin in 1 cup cold water and stir into hot mixture.
Refrigerate until mixture begins to thicken.
Fold in nuts, apples and celery.
Pour into an 11 x 7 or 8-inch square pan and chill thoroughly.
Cut into squares and serve on lettuce.
May be put into individual molds if preferred.
This is easily doubled or tripled and keeps very well for several days.
