Braised Leg Of Lamb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 bay leaf
    salt and pepper
    garlic powder
Preparation
    Day before roasting, marinate meat in vinegar, oil, bay leaf, salt and pepper; refrigerate.
    Just before roasting, sprinkle with garlic powder and brown in roasting pan.
    Add a little water and roast, covered, at 325\u00b0 for 2 to 3 hours, according to weight. Baste 3 or 4 times during the cooking.
    A carrot, parsley root and onion may be added during the roasting for added flavor.
