Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 c. scalded milk
    1 Tbsp. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix potatoes, shortening and sugar and then add milk that has been cooled to lukewarm.
    Add yeast that has been dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Add dry ingredients and knead well.
    Dough will be sticky.
    Grease top of dough.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight. Roll out on floured surface, cut into squares and fry as usual.
