Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Boil beets.
    Remove skins.
    Bring the vinegar, sugar, water, salt, cloves and cinnamon to a boil.
    Place hot beets in hot jars. Pour syrup over beets to cover.
    Seal at once.
