Ingredients

1/2 c. plain flour
3 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. butter (margarine)
1 tsp. salt
6 whole eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar and salt.
Melt butter.
Add eggs.
Add both mixtures and beat.
Add buttermilk and vanilla and beat. Pour into two deep dish pie crusts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until thick and brown.
