Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 box brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream margarine; add sugar, flour, salt and baking powder. Mix until crumbly.
    Add eggs, vanilla and nuts.
    Mix thoroughly. Spread in greased and floured 14 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar while warm.
    Makes 16 squares.
