Mrs. N. C. Payne'S Special Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour and butter until real creamy and fluffy.
    Now beat eggs well and add the sugar with the baking powder sifted in to the eggs.
    Add this to the creamy flour and butter and beat thoroughly.
    Bake in a tube cake pan, greased and dusted with flour for 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
