Icebox Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large cucumbers, sliced thin
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric seed
    1 tsp. salt
    2 onions, sliced thin
Preparation
    Mix vinegar and sugar until sugar dissolves.
    Add spices and cucumbers and onions.
    Let sit in icebox 4 days before serving. This was given to me by Sharon Guthrie.
    It's a very good pickle.
