Spicy Holiday Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 apples
    2 qt. apple cider
    8 cinnamon sticks
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 orange
    1 lemon
    1/4 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Core apples and slice into rings.
    In a large pan, combine cider, cinnamon, cloves, apple rings and raisins.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, until apples are fork tender.
    Thinly slice the orange and lemon.
    Add orange and lemon slices and the lemon juice to the apple mixture.
    Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
    Pour into punch bowl and serve warm or chilled. Makes 1/2 gallon.
