Peanut Butter Temptations - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    48 miniature peanut butter cup candies
Preparation
    Cream margarine, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
    Stir in dry ingredients until blended.
    Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in plain granulated sugar.
    Press into small 1 3/4-inch muffin tins.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes (or 8 minutes) until light brown.
    Do not overcook.
    Remove from oven.
    Immediately press one peanut butter cup into each hot cookie crust.
    Allow to cool.
    Gently remove from pan.
    Makes 4 dozen.
