Ingredients

9-inch baked pastry shell
1/3 c. cocoa
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. cornstarch
3 c. milk
3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Prepare pie shell; cool.
Combine cocoa, sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan; blend in milk until smooth.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils; boil and stir 3 minutes. Remove from heat; blend in butter and vanilla.
Pour into pie shell; press plastic wrap onto surface.
Chill 3 hours.
