Choc-O-Cherry Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
1/4 c. maraschino cherry juice
3 (3 oz.) sq. melted unsweetened chocolate
12 cherries, sliced
Preparation

Sift together in mixing bowl the flour, sugar, soda and salt. Add the butter and milk; beat for 1 1/2 minutes.
Add 3 unbeaten eggs, the cherry juice, the melted chocolate and the sliced cherries.
Beat for 1 1/2 minutes.
Pour into 3 (9-inch) round layer pans, well-greased and lightly floured.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool and frost.
