Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. fresh popcorn
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. corn syrup (light)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Put popcorn in a large pan.
    In a heavy pan, mix sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt.
    Stir over medium heat until dissolved and boiling.
    Continue boiling, without stirring, for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla and soda.
    Mix well. Pour over popcorn.
    Stir to coat.
    Pour into roasting pan.
    Bake in preheated 250\u00b0 oven for one hour, stirring about every 15 minutes.
