Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. flank steak
    2 medium onions
    2 medium sweet peppers (red and green)
    1 clove garlic
    3 Tbsp. sherry or less (optional; do not use cooking sherry)
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut steak into small strips, 3/8 x 3-inch approximately. Marinate steak strips 10 minutes in soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch and salt.
    Heat 2 tablespoons oil in pan; add garlic, onion and pepper and stir until tender.
    Remove from pan and set aside. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan; add meat and stir until cooked.
    Add vegetables and cook 1 minute more.
    The marinade mix may be added with the meat.
    Serve hot.
