Rice Pilaf(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oleo
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. chicken or beef broth
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt oleo in saucepan over low heat.
    Add rice and stir-fry about 5 minutes, until straw-colored.
    Add broth, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over low heat until all liquid is absorbed.
    Uncover and cook 3 to 5 minutes longer to dry out.
    Fluff with a fork. Contains 305 calories per serving.
