Doris' Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 medium bell pepper
    1 medium red onion
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Mix sugar, oil, water and vinegar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and let cool.
    Chop cabbage, bell pepper and onion and toss with celery seed.
    Add cooled dressing. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
