Green Beans And New Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. salt pork, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
    6 c. water
    2 lb. fresh green beans, snapped
    1 small onion
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    12 new potatoes, washed and scrubbed
Preparation
    Place salt pork and water in a large Dutch oven; cover and cook over medium heat 1 hour. Add green beans, onion, and pepper; cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add potatoes; cover and simmer 50 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
