My Favorite Chicken Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. fryer or 3 1/2 c. cooked chicken, diced
1 (10 oz.) can creamed chicken (undiluted)
1 (No. 10) can chicken broth (3/4 oz.) or may use broth from cooked chicken
1/2 c. cooked peas, drained
1/2 c. diced carrots, drained
salt and pepper (no salt if cooked chicken is salted)
1 (11 oz.) pkg. pie crust mix
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except pie crust.
Mix pie crust according to directions on package.
Roll out into 1-inch strips. Line 1 1/2-quart casserole dish with half of the pie crust strips. Pour chicken mixture into casserole dish.
Top with remaining half of pie crust strips.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until crust is brown.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
