24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 oz. pkg. frozen peas
1/2 head lettuce, cut in 1/2-inch slices
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 lb. bacon, diced
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
water chestnuts
Preparation

Cook peas in water until drained.
Fry bacon until crisp. Drain.
Layer lettuce, peas, celery and green pepper in bowl. Combine mayo and sugar.
Pour over top.
Sprinkle with cheese and bacon.
Chill overnight.
