Ingredients

8 oz. white chocolate or 8 oz. Hershey bar
1 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Chop chocolate into small chunks; set aside.
Cream butter until soft.
Add sugars, eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy.
Blend in flour, soda and salt.
Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts.
Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets about 2-inches apart.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
