Cheesy Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. yellow corn meal
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 (5 oz.) can creamed corn
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Combine ingredients, except cheese, in a large bowl.
Stir until combined (do not use mixer).
Pour 1/2 of mixture into a 9-inch greased cake pan.
Sprinkle grated cheese over batter. Pour remaining batter over cheese.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
