Quick Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    pinch of salt
    4 Tbsp. milk
    2 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt margarine\tin
    saucepan.
    Stir
    in brown sugar and salt. Cook 2 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.\tAdd 4 tablespoons of milk, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
    Remove
    from
    heat.\tStir
    in gradually 2 1/2 cups confectioners
    sugar
    and\tvanilla.
    Enough
    for
    two
    9-inch layers.
    This is
    especially
    good\ton Banana Nut Cake or on a yellow cake.
