Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2 egg whites, beaten stiffly
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Blend sugar, water and syrup until it spins a thread (approximately 280\u00b0).
    Pour slowly over egg whites on high speed using an electric mixer.
    Pour in nuts and flavorings.
    Drop on wax paper and let cool.
