Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
1 c. finely crushed cereal (such as frosted bran flakes)
1/2 c. chopped pecans
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cream the margarine and sugars until fluffy.
Add egg and mix.
Add oil and vanilla; mix.
Add oatmeal, cereal, coconut and nuts; stir well (low speed on mixer). Add flour and soda; mix well.
Mixture will be very thick.
Form small balls; place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Flatten with fork which has been dipped in water.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Cool on sheet.
Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
