Easy Bake Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
    4 carrots, cut into small pieces
    3 celery sticks, cut into 2-inch pieces
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sherry
    salt and pepper to taste
    paprika to taste
Preparation
    Place meat in roasting pan.
    Season with salt, pepper, paprika and onion soup mix.
    Add potatoes, carrots and celery.
    In a saucepan, blend celery soup with sherry and pour over meat and vegetables.
    Cover and bake at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 for 4 1/2 to 5 hours.
