Cream Cheese Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and brown sugar.
Add flour and nuts; mix until crumbly stage.
Save 1 cup for topping.
Press remainder in 8-inch pan; bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Blend sugar and cream cheese; add milk, lemon juice, egg and vanilla.
Beat well.
Spread over crust and put remaining crumbly mixture on top.
Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
