Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. margarine
2 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 lb. candied pineapple
2 lb. dates, chilled and cut into pieces
1 lb. candied cherries
8 c. pecans (pieces)
Preparation

Cut up fruits and nuts and coat well with one or two cups of flour.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar in mixer and add eggs, one at a time.
Sift remaining flour with soda and cinnamon. Alternate adding milk and flour to the mixture.
Pour over fruit and nuts and stir well by hand with a wooden spoon.
Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until done.
