Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1 large onion, chopped fine
1 egg

Preparation

Sift the dry ingredients together and add the egg, milk and water.
Stir in the chopped onion.
Mold into desired shapes and fry in oil until well done.
