Abalone Saute - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 slice abalone, pounded lightly
1 egg, beaten
1 oz. saffron oil
season to taste
Preparation

Take the steak and flour it.
Season the beaten egg. Place the steak in the egg (a pie plate serves well for this).
Use a good saute pan.
Bring the oil to a slight smoke point.
Spread the steak and egg mixture and turn fast.
Cook for no more than 4 seconds a side.
Serve immediately.
