Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box pudding cake mix
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. sugar
    6 oz. frozen coconut
    1/4 c. chocolate cocoa
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. Karo syrup
    3 tsp. water
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
    When cake is cooled, slice layers into 2 pieces each layer,
    then mix sugar, sour cream and frozen coconut.
    Pour between each cut layer.
