Clam Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. Worcestershire
    dash of garlic powder
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
    12 thin slices fresh white bread, crusts removed
    melted butter or margarine for brushing on bread (can be prepared day before)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Melt 1 tablespoon butter or margarine in skillet.
    Add onion and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Add flour and whisk to blend.
    Stir in Worcestershire, garlic, clams and clam liquid, stirring constantly.
    Cook over low heat until thickened.
    Boil 1 minute, stirring.
    Let mixture cool. Flatten bread with rolling pin.
    Spread each slice with clam mixture.
    Roll like jelly roll, cut in half.
    Place on baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
