Pumpkin Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans packed pumpkin
    1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1 (1 3/4 oz.) pkg. powdered fruit pectin
    4 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine pumpkin, spice and fruit pectin.
    Heat and stir over high heat until thoroughly heated.
    Stir in sugar; stir until boiling.
    Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Ladle into sterilized half pint jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
    Adjust lids, then process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
