Oysters And Macaroni Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. oysters
3 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. macaroni, cooked
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. or more sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Drain oysters.
Melt butter in top of double boiler.
Blend in flour; add milk.
Cook until thick, stirring often.
Place layer of macaroni in buttered 2-quart casserole.
Cover with layer of oysters.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and grated cheese.
Repeat layers.
Pour white sauce over contents of casserole.
Top with grated cheese.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 30 minutes or until brown around edges.
Serves 4.
