Sauerkraut Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large jar or can sauerkraut
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lb. sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 c. bread crumbs
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Drain and chop sauerkraut.
Brown sausage, ground beef and onion.
Add all other ingredients except bread crumbs and eggs. Brown.
Remove from fire; stir in bread crumbs.
Cool.
Beat 1 egg and stir in.
Form into balls.
Refrigerate or freeze balls for an hour or so to make them easier to dip.
Dip in mixture of 2 eggs and 1/4 cup milk.
Roll in bread crumbs.
Place under broiler or place in 400\u00b0 oven until brown and heated.
