Karen'S Spinach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. onion, diced
    1 c. bacon, diced (uncooked)
    2 pieces garlic, chopped
    1/2 c. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. avocet
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 slices Swiss cheese
    2 boxes frozen spinach, drained and chopped
Preparation
    Saute bacon to golden brown in large skillet.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Add spinach and cook for 10 minutes.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add avocet and cook for 2 minutes.
    Add butter and mix together.
    Mix cornstarch with water and add to spinach pie. Mix together.
    Transfer spinach pie to a casserole dish.
    Top with cheese and bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for approximately 8 minutes.
