Ingredients

1 lb. butter (soft)
1 1/2 c. xxxx sugar, packed
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream the sugar and butter together.
Add 1 cup of flour at a time.
Mix well.
Add rest of ingredients.
Measure by teaspoon and drop on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 20 minutes.
