Pecan Pie Surprise Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. melted margarine
4 eggs
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Set aside 2/3 cup of the cake mix.
Combine remaining cake mix, margarine and 1 egg.
Mix with fork until crumbly.
Press into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
