Coconut And Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. black walnuts
1 c. flaked coconut
2 tsp. coconut extract
Preparation

Combine sugar, oil and eggs; beat well.
Combine dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture alternately with buttermilk. Roll nuts in flour.
Stir in nuts, coconut and extract.
Grease and flour a tube pan.
Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Pour hot coconut syrup over warm cake.
Allow cake to remain in pan for 4 hours.
