Easy Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (21 oz.) can peach pie filling, cut larger pieces
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained
    2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained
    1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained
    6 bananas, sliced about 1/2-inch
    3 to 4 oz. coconut or amount desired
Preparation
    To pie filling, add 3 bananas.
    Mix, coating bananas.
    Add 3 more bananas and mix well.
    (This will keep bananas from turning brown.)
    Add other ingredients, mix well.
    Chill and serve.
    Add nuts or other fruit, if desired.
