Anadama Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    5 1/2 to 5 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. dark molasses
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 eggs
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine yeast and 3 cups flour.
    Gradually stir cornmeal into boiling water.
    Add molasses, shortening and salt. Cool to lukewarm.
    Add to flour/yeast mixture.
    Add eggs.
    Beat at low speed for 1/2 minute, scraping bowl constantly.
    Beat 3 minutes at high speed.
    By hand, stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
