Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
48 chocolate kisses

Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except candy.
Mix on low speed until dough forms.
Shape into balls, using a rounded teaspoon for each.
Roll balls into sugar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for about 10 to 12 minutes.
Top each cookie immediately with a chocolate kiss; press down firmly so cookie cracks around the edge.
Let cool.
Ready to eat!
