Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cans French fried onion rings
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In heavy skillet, cook beef with salt until brown.
    Stir to break into small pieces.
    Transfer beef
    to bowl and add remaining ingredients (save French fried onions
    for topping).
    Mix well; put into baking dish and bake 30
    minutes, then
    top
    with onion rings.
    Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer.
