Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. corn oil
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 (No. 2) can pumpkin (2 c.)
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans or 1 c. white raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oil well.
    Add eggs; beat vigorously.
    Add pumpkin and stir.
    Mix dry ingredients together and add to first mixture, stirring well after each addition.
    May add 1 cup chopped pecans and 1 cup white raisins, if desired.
    Fresh pumpkin may be substituted for canned.
    Put in greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Yields 1 loaf.
