Peanut Butter-Chocolate Scotcheroos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Combine sugar and Karo syrup in a large pot.
    Cook over moderate heat.
    Stir frequently until mixture bubbles.
    Remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter.
    Mix in Rice Krispies.
    Stir until well blended.
    Press mixture into buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Melt chocolate and butterscotch morsels together over hot water.
    Stir until well blended.
    Spread evenly over rice mixture.
    Cool until firm.
    Slice into squares.
